Size of baby: Fig
What's baby up to? Baby is busy kicking and stretching, the tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet. These movements will become more frequent as the baby grows and become more developed and functional. Mom won't feel baby's acrobats for another month for two.
Total weight gain/loss: +5.5
Pregnancy symptoms: Starting to feel like I'm getting some energy back - yippie!
Maternity clothes? Nope, but almost. I got a belly band thing for my pants and will probably be giving it a try this week.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Still doing lots of it.
Best moment this past week: Sis-in-law & her hubby had their first child this past week. Such a sweet day!
Miss Anything? Feeling like I can fit in my pants.
Movement: Nope
Food Cravings: Mexican food, but that's pretty standard for me even pre pregnancy.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Have you started to show yet: Maybe, I don't know. Def showing the 5lbs I've put on, but I don't think that counts.

Happy or Moody: Happy, but I definitely have a short fuse.
Weekly Wisdom: Eat slow so you'll know when you're full, over eating is painful these days.

What's baby up to? He/she can now swallow amniotic fluid and the life-sustaining organs (heart, brain, liver, kidneys, intestines) are beginning to work.
Total weight gain/loss: +4.5 lbs
Pregnancy symptoms: T.I.R.E.D.
Maternity clothes? Nope, but I think they're coming. My fat pants are starting to feel small.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: All the time
Best moment this past week: Sleeping lots
Miss Anything? Being able to stay awake past 8 p.m.
Movement: Nope
Food Cravings: None
Anything making you queasy or sick: The thought of eating meat makes me kind of sick, but when I eat it I'm fine.
Have you started to show yet: No, just look fatter.

9 weeks
How far along? 9 weeks
Size of baby: Grape
What's baby up to? The heart finishes dividing into four chambers, and the valves start to form -- as do his/her tiny teeth.
Total weight gain/loss: Still just +3
Pregnancy symptoms: Feeling ok, just sleeping a lot.
Maternity clothes? Been feeling better so none this week.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Yes, please!
Best moment this past week: I had an embarrassing moment this week... I went to go get my hair done and went through a drive-thru to get lunch around 11:30am. I then decided after my hair appointment and some shopping to go back for a snack to the same place around 3pm and it was the same guy working the window. He totally remembered me and said, "Back again?"
Miss Anything? Being able to stay awake past 7 p.m.

Month 3 Begins
Size of baby: Jelly bean
Number of pregnancy tests taken: 5, I had to take one at that doctor's office. That should be my last one :)
What's baby up to? Arm and leg buds are emgerging and look like paddles.
Total weight gain/loss: Holding steady at +3lbs
Pregnancy symptoms: Sooooo sleepy & soooooo queasy
Maternity clothes? Broke down and have wore some pants, they're big, but so much more comfortable.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Yes, please!
Best moment this past week: Seeing Baby C at the ultrasound appointment.
Have you told family and friends: I think the world knows or will almost know. Facebook post went up with the ultrasound photo and I told work when I got back from the appointment. We are also sending out fun Happy New Year cards announcing it, just incase someone missed it ;)
Miss Anything? Being able to stay awake past 8 p.m. It also turned cold this past week so I REALLY missed coffee.
Movement: Nope
Food Cravings: Not really, just food every 3-4 hours.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Yes, but thanks to the acupuncture and B6, it is drastically improving. I've never been so happy to be stuck by needles.
Have you started to show yet: No, just looking a little fatter.
Gender predictions: Girl and the Chinese Calendar confirms this predition.
Labor sigs: No
Belly Button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On
Happy or Moody: Eh, a little of both
Weekly Wisdom: Feeling super queasy? B6 and acupuncture might do the trick.
Looking forward to: Doctor appointment #2 next week for more blood work and tests. Hoping the progesterone supplements have done the trick and my levels are up to where they should be.
